A program that issues J-1 Visas to students, who are enrolled in colleges or universities. These students will travel to the United States, to work legally and to promote and gain different cultural experience.
Students must be 18-28 years of age.
Students are allowed a 30-day "grace period" after their J-1 work visa has expired. You can use these 30 days to go shopping, visit friends and family in various states.
The program extends from May – September each year, along with a 30-day grace period.
You will live and work in any of these states: Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C, Boston and Massachusetts.
Yes. Housing will be provided for each student by the employer. Wherein, a rent deduction from paycheck will be done.

Yes. However, it all depends the dedication and work ethics of the individual.
Please register for the regular Lifeguarding course and then you may inform your instructor when you check-in, that you would like to be tested as a Shallow Water Lifeguard. Shallow Water Lifeguarding contains all the material of the regular Lifeguarding course except for deep water rescues and will certify students to lifeguard at pools up to 5 feet deep.
